
Newton Man Sentenced to 21+ Years
For Producing Child Porn
WICHITA, KAN. – A Newton, Kan., man has been sentenced to 260 months in federal prison for producing child pornography, U.S. Attorney Barry Grissom said today.
Lucas S. Buller, 31, Newton pleaded guilty to one count of producing child pornography. In his plea, he admitted collecting images of child pornography and taking photos of minor children in various states of undress. He admitted taking photos of a minor girl while she slept and her genitals were exposed. He also admitted taking photos of a minor boy whose genitals were exposed.
Grissom commended the Newton Police Department and Assistant U.S. Attorney Jason Hart for their work on the case. This case is being prosecuted under the Project Safe Childhood initiative. For more information see www.justice.gov/psc
